ABOUT LITTLE HARFORD (a note from Rachel Samuel)

Little Harford was lovingly transformed by my parents — both artists — into a sanctuary for nature, art, and community. What was once a treeless landscape is now a rich woodland with a meandering river, thriving wildlife, and a spirit of welcome that has touched many lives.

Now, I’m continuing their legacy by opening Little Harford to a new generation. With an almost-wild campsite, a retreat pod that guests love, and the house available for Airbnb stays, the dream is growing — but it needs support to flourish.

This fundraiser concert featuring Wendy Rule is about more than music: it’s about preserving a unique place and building a retreat where people can reconnect with nature, creativity, and themselves.

Let’s keep the magic of Little Harford alive — and grow it into something even more beautiful.

All proceeds will go toward preserving this extraordinary place and launching a new chapter: a creative retreat where nature, connection, and artist expression meet.
